Pattern of Thefts Involving Running Cars

Police have repeatedly warned drivers not to leave keys in the ignition and to keep children with them when stepping away from a vehicle.
Police Activity Around Stolen Vehicles
Separately, officers have been stepping up their response to stolen vehicles. On Tuesday night in the West End, police pursued at least one stolen vehicle in a chase that ended with a crash involving an unmarked police car and two people taken into custody, WLWT reported. Authorities said one person was found with a firearm and a Taser was used in one arrest, according to FOX19.
