
A construction worker, aged 60, was hospitalized after sustaining injuries in an accident at a Bridgewater building site, previously the home of a Friendly's restaurant. According to Boston 25 News, the incident took place around 11 a.m. last Friday when Bridgewater's emergency services rushed to 70 Broad Street in response to the construction accident.
Upon their arrival, first responders administered immediate aid to the worker, who suffered from multiple injuries. Following stabilization, the worker was taken swiftly via ambulance to a nearby makeshift helipad at the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, located on Center Street. From there, a medical helicopter made haste, transporting the victim to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
