As the Covington Police Department revealed on their social media page, the parade is scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM on Saturday, but streets along the route will be closed off to vehicles starting from 5:00 PM. The parade promises to weave its way through the town, kickstarting at North Columbia Street and Jefferson Street and charting a designated path that loops back to its starting point.
In light of the upcoming event, several parking restrictions have been put in place. According to the Covington Police Department, "No parking along the parade route before 6:00 AM on Friday, February 6, 2026," has been mandated, with the additional instruction that "all vehicles must be removed by 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2026." Non-compliant vehicles risk being towed, so attendees are advised to plan their parking strategy, keeping in mind the restricted areas and timings.
