Delaware County is inviting residents to share their input on how opioid settlement funds should be used during Strategic Planning Meetings on February 24 and 26 from 9 a.m. to noon, led by the Steadman Group. The discussions aim to shape a strategic plan that effectively addresses the opioid crisis and reflects the community’s needs, according to the Delaware County.
The first meeting targets grantees and stakeholders, while the second focuses on community groups and individuals with firsthand experience of the crisis. Registration is open for both sessions, emphasizing that everyone’s input is valued in guiding the county’s use of these funds, as reported by the Delaware County.
Delaware County will hold community meetings at the Human Services building in Drexel Hill to discuss the use of settlement funds. The meetings will cover the crisis response, fund requirements, and areas needing further work. Community input will be used to develop a Vision and Mission for the Strategic Plan.
