Denton police say they have arrested 27-year-old Jeremiah O’Brien Devereaux in connection with a string of incidents in women’s restrooms and locker rooms at local campuses and a Denton gym. Devereaux is being held in the Denton County Jail on criminal trespass and indecent-exposure counts, with a bond set at $5,000. Investigators say the case links an indecent-exposure report at the University of North Texas last Friday with a trespass call in the 1300 block of S. Loop 288 last Saturday.
In a release on the Denton Police Department Facebook page, officers identified the suspect as Jeremiah O’Brien Devereaux and said they tracked him down after the gym call, arresting him on an outstanding theft warrant. Detectives added that they "believe there may be additional unreported incidents" and urged anyone who had a similar interaction to contact investigators.

Officers responded last Saturday to the 1300 block of S. Loop 288 after witnesses reported that a man had gone into the women’s locker room, sauna, and bathroom at a local gym. According to witnesses, the suspect fled, but officers later located him and arrested him on an outstanding theft warrant. Local reporting identified the gym at that address as an LA Fitness, and booking records show that Devereaux was later held on criminal trespass and indecent-exposure counts with a bond set at $5,000, as reported by the Cross Timbers Gazette.

Denton police noted in the Facebook release that Devereaux has prior arrests, including a January 2025 incident at Texas Woman’s University in which he was accused of attempting to follow a woman into a bathroom stall, along with other bookings dating back to 2017.
