North Phoenix is getting a new spot for gluten-free pies and veggie-packed pastas, as Picazzo's Healthy Italian Kitchen prepares to roll into Happy Valley in early March. The Arizona-born chain, known for its health-focused twist on classic Italian, says the new outpost will be its seventh restaurant in the state, bringing its organic, gluten-free and plant-based comfort food to another corner of the Valley.
According to KTAR, the Happy Valley Picazzo's will land near 43rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road in a roughly 2,000-square-foot space and is slated to open in early March. KTAR reports the restaurant plans to operate 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with a daily "healthy hour" from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. offering deals on select dishes and drinks. Menu standouts are expected to include baked brie with homemade focaccia, organic salads, stone-oven pizza, pasta and soups, along with a lineup of vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly options.
Where It Will Be
On its locations page, Picazzo's lists the Happy Valley address as 3890 W Happy Valley Rd., Ste 169 in Glendale and currently tags the site as "Coming Soon — Spring 2026." That same listing confirms the chain's existing footprint across the Valley, including Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe/Chandler, Gilbert and Sedona, and notes that the Happy Valley restaurant will follow the company's self-described "healthitarian" approach. For location details and status updates, the chain directs guests to its dedicated Happy Valley page.
Why the Happy Valley Opening Matters
Picazzo's has built a following among diners chasing gluten-free, plant-forward Italian dishes, and local readers' polls have taken notice. Arizona Foothills notes that the chain has recently scored "Best of Our Valley" honors, signaling steady demand for allergy-friendly Italian across metro Phoenix. A Happy Valley outpost stands to make those options a lot easier to grab for north Phoenix residents and shoppers in the surrounding area.
What to Watch Next
Picazzo's has not circled a specific opening date on the calendar just yet, but its Happy Valley page and social media channels are expected to be the first places to share soft-opening info and specials. Per Picazzo's, the new restaurant will mirror the menu and programming of its other Arizona locations, including healthy-hour promotions and community-focused events. We'll update this post once the chain announces a firm opening day and any launch deals.
