Arlington police are seeking an extra set of eyes from North District residents after releasing surveillance images of a man they believe is connected to multiple burglaries in the area.
In photos shared yesterday, the man appears to be of average build, dressed in a hoodie, shorts, and slides with socks. Investigators highlighted a large tattoo on his left forearm as a key identifying feature. In one video clip, officers say the suspect can be seen walking through the front door at a burglary scene. Detectives are hoping that neighbors will check their own doorbell cameras and send in any footage that might help.
What the police shared and how to tip
According to a post on the Arlington Police Department Facebook page, officers are asking the public to help identify the man in the images and to report any sightings.
The post lists Detective Rodriguez as the lead on the case and directs anyone with information to call (817) 459-5650. For those who prefer to stay anonymous, Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County takes tips by phone, through the P3 Tips mobile app, or online. The program notes that rewards of up to $1,000 are available for tips that lead to an arrest.
How investigators are piecing together the cases
The city’s police records portal lets both investigators and residents search incident reports by district, beat, or crime type. According to the Arlington Police Department’s records page, that tool helps spot patterns across neighborhoods and can be used to narrow down whether similar break-ins may be part of the same series.
Detectives often pair those records with surveillance images when working leads, using the combination to link cases, identify potential suspects, and figure out where to focus follow-up work.
What neighbors can do
Investigators are specifically asking residents with doorbell or exterior security cameras in the north district to review recent footage and report anything that might be connected to the burglaries.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the photos or has relevant video is urged to contact Detective Rodriguez at (817) 459-5650. Anonymous tips can go to Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-TIPS, through the P3 Tips app, or via its website, which notes rewards of up to $1,000 for qualifying information.
Police are asking the public to share information with authorities rather than approaching the suspect directly.
