A Jackson man faces charges of Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault in the shooting death of another man in Forsyth, Georgia. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) apprehended 32-year-old Roderious Laquantez Goodrum in connection with the fatal incident involving 29-year-old Gregory Quentez Middlebrooks.
According to details released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Goodrum allegedly shot and killed Middlebrooks during an argument at the Forsyth Gardens Apartments on Monday. The GBI stated on its website that the investigation remains ongoing and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Individuals with relevant details are asked to contact the Forsyth Police Department or the GBI’s Milledgeville Regional Office. Anonymous tips may be submitted via the agency’s hotline, online tip portal, or the See Something, Send Something mobile app. Following the conclusion of their investigation, the GBI will turn over the case to the Towaliga District Attorney's Office for prosecution.
