A man is in critical condition after a shooting near 7th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue in north Phoenix Sunday evening, turning a familiar neighborhood crossroads into an active crime scene.
Neighbors reported a heavy police response as officers rushed in, treated the victim and secured the intersection. Phoenix police said they were called to the area just after 6:30 p.m., where they found an adult man with at least one gunshot wound.
