The Massachusetts State Police's CINRET South team recently executed a series of search warrants that led to significant seizures in an alleged drug trafficking operation. The law enforcement effort, part of a mission to disrupt and dismantle such networks, targeted residences and vehicles across Fall River and New Bedford.
On Tuesday, the team moved quickly and decisively to arrest two individuals, seizing a substantial cache of weapons and narcotics. The searches culminated in the capture of seven firearms, high-capacity magazines, and large quantities of drugs. An estimated one kilogram of cocaine and three kilograms of fentanyl, along with roughly $100,000 in cash, were taken by authorities, according to a social media post from the Massachusetts State Police.
Daryl Fennell from Fall River and Lincoln Green from New Bedford were apprehended following the search. Both will face multiple charges related to drugs and firearms.
