The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will hold a public meeting on Feb. 25 from 4–6 p.m. at the James J. Eagan Community Center to gather input on the Route AC (New Halls Ferry Rd.) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
Visitors can attend the open house-style meeting at any time to view conceptual designs for the Route AC improvements, which aim to address increased crash patterns. MoDOT is seeking feedback from people who travel the corridor between Route 67 (Lindbergh) and I-270 to help refine the proposed changes before construction begins.
According to MoDOT, the project includes pavement resurfacing, updated sidewalks, signal upgrades, and other improvements designed to enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians. For those unable to attend in person, MoDOT has posted project details on its website, allowing the public to review the full scope of the work. The improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety and efficiency on Missouri roads for all users.
