Residents in search of resources to navigate the challenges of property ownership, rental hurdles, and employment found a beacon of support in O’Fallon Park Rec Complex. In an effort to provide communal aid, STL Recovers hosted a Community Meeting and Resource Fair, aimed at offering a hand to those needing help with Private Property Assistance applications and beyond. STL Recovers detailed the event's offerings, which included "Rental Assistance, Utility Assistance, Employment opportunities & Job Training, Property Tax Relief."
While the event was a single-day affair, outreach extended further; incapable of attending individuals had another chance to partake in the recovery offerings. A neighborhood pop-up is scheduled for Saturday, Feb 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., located at 4122 W Florissant. Echoed through the social channels of STL Recovers was the invitation, ensuring no one is left adrift in the sea of recovery work. "Today is the Community Meeting and Resource Fair at the O’Fallon Park Rec Complex!” STL Recovers announced, followed by the encouragement for those who could not make it "no problem!"
