The principal, Dr. Tim McCarthy, conveyed his condolences, stating, "Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Bumbac family as they mourn the loss of their daughter and sister."
In details provided by the First Alert 4, the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicated that the incident occurred when a 17-year-old boy, also a Parkway Central student, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip and subsequently collide with another driver. The male student, who was the driver, is currently hospitalized and in critical condition.
