Authorities have arrested two individuals in connection with a deadly fentanyl-related incident in Peachtree City. After a monthslong probe into the overdose that claimed a life last year, Jordan Houston Lytton and Rachel Cecelia Myers face charges of felony involuntary manslaughter, the Peachtree City Police Department confirmed yesterday.

The overdose in question tragically resulted in a death on November 3, 2025, as reported by WSB-TV. Responders from local police and fire departments discovered a victim within the city limits after receiving reports of a possible overdose. Despite life-saving efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. A subsequent toxicology report revealed a high concentration of fentanyl in the victim’s system.

Lytton and Myers are charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, and use of a communication device to facilitate a felony. According to an announcement from the Peachtree City Police Department obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta, arrest warrants for both individuals were issued on February 1 following a multi-agency law enforcement investigation.

When authorities executed a search warrant at Myers' apartment, they found not only fentanyl but also methamphetamine, morphine, LSD, and a firearm. It "remains committed to protecting the safety and well-being of the community," the Peachtree City Police Department stated, also thanking the Sandy Springs Police Department for assisting in Myers' apprehension, as noted by FOX5 Atlanta. Moreover, they empathized with the victim's family, acknowledging the encompassing tragedy and their loss.
