According to the post, officers responded to a total of 696 incidents, which included 15 arrests and eight criminal complaints lodged within that period. This snapshot serves as a window into the routine yet critical operations of local law enforcement, tasked with maintaining public safety and order.
This week, the Plymouth Police force was also called to the scene of 51 motor vehicle accidents, a figure that underscores the ongoing need for traffic safety awareness. On the other side of their responsibilities, the officers conducted 29 traffic stops. Not to be overlooked, the department has thanked its officers for their unwavering dedication as well as the community for its support during these daily operations, striving to keep its roads and neighbourhoods safe.
Other significant activities highlight the varied nature of police work in Plymouth, including 33 responses to house and building alarms, suggesting a degree of vigilance against potential breaches of security, as well as 15 disturbances that required police intervention.
