Police say officers responding just before 4:30 a.m. found the man with a gunshot wound to the head and rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Investigators believe the gunfire erupted after a verbal dispute, and the shooter took off.

According to News 12 Brooklyn, the suspect is described as a bearded man wearing blue jeans and a gray jacket. Detectives said there were no arrests as of Saturday morning and that they are canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video. Investigators indicated that what started as an argument escalated into a shooting.
