
A man was shot and killed early yesterday morning in Lithonia, according to DeKalb County police. Officers said they found the victim in the 1900 block of South Stone Mountain Lithonia Road, which includes Petty Bone’s, and that he later died from his injuries. Investigators have not yet released his name as they continue to work the case.
Police Rush to Pre-Dawn Scene
DeKalb County officers said they were called to the area around 5 a.m., where they found a man who had been shot. He was taken for treatment but did not survive, the department told reporters. County officials confirmed that the scene remains under active investigation and have released few additional details while detectives canvass the area and collect evidence, according to WSB-TV.

Police have not released any suspect description or possible motive in the Lithonia shooting.
