Two people were shot in the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis during the early morning hours of Feb. 18, according to police. Memphis Police Department officers responded at about 2 a.m. to a shooting call on Dabbs Avenue near Orland Street and found two people who had been shot. Investigators were on the scene, and there was no suspect information available at that time.
MPD officers located the victims when they arrived, and no suspect details had been released, as reported by Action News 5. We have reached out to MPD for more information and will update this story if additional details are released.

The Frayser area has seen repeated shootings in recent months. In June 2025, Hoodline reported an incident in which a shooting hospitalized two people. The recurrence of overnight shootings has kept investigators busy across the north Memphis precincts.
