
A man was shot and killed Sunday night at a BP gas station on South Parkway East in South Memphis, according to police. Officers arrived just before 9 p.m. and found the victim near the pump islands between Carnegie and McMillan streets, as the scene quickly shifted from a routine refueling stop to an active crime scene. Detectives began canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video as the investigation got underway.

According to FOX13 Memphis, the Memphis Police Department said officers responded to the BP on South Parkway East and located a man who had been shot to death. MPD told the station it did not have information on possible suspects as detectives continued their initial investigation.
