St. Louis woke up todat, to cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 20s, right around 27°F, but a warm front is set to bump afternoon highs into the upper 30s. Most of the day should stay dry and at least partly sunny, with clouds thickening late tonight into Tuesday. If any precipitation does sneak in overnight, it looks light, with pockets of freezing drizzle that could make a few spots slick for the Tuesday morning commute.
What To Expect
Today (Monday, February 2, 2026) will be partly sunny with a high near 38°F and light west winds. Clouds build in tonight with a low around 28°F, and the National Weather Service St. Louis office puts the odds of a light wintry mix late tonight into Tuesday at roughly 20–40 percent, mainly across southeast and east-central Missouri into southwest Illinois. Any accumulation should stay light, from a mere dusting to about 1/4 inch, with a trace of icing possible.
Forecasters there also flag that ceilings at St. Louis Lambert could drop to near 2,000 feet Tuesday morning, which would lower visibility if snow develops. Most of the precipitation should move out by Tuesday afternoon.

Even a light dusting or patchy freezing drizzle can turn bridges, ramps and untreated surfaces slippery in a hurry, so build in some extra time if you are heading out Tuesday morning.
