Residents of St. Louis should note changes to the trash collection schedule next week due to President’s Day. The City of St. Louis Refuse Division announced adjustments to roll cart trash and recycling collection. Normally scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, collections will be altered because of the holiday on February 16.
For residents whose trash collection usually occurs on Monday or Thursday, pickups will be moved to February 17, and February 19. Those on the Tuesday and Friday schedule will have collections on February 18, and February 20. The adjustments are being made to accommodate the federal holiday. Yard waste collection will resume on March 18. Residents are encouraged to have leaves, branches, and other yard debris ready for pickup on that day, according to the City of St. Louis.
For more information on the schedule changes and other waste services, residents can visit the City of St. Louis Refuse Division website. The site provides guidance on renovation debris, appliance disposal, and hazardous waste programs.
