
Salt Lake City police are still looking for a man who walked into a Sugar House AT&T store with a weapon on Friday, tried to rob the place and then took off before officers could catch up. No injuries were reported.
What happened
According to ABC4 Utah, officers were called to an AT&T storefront near 2200 South and 1300 East after a man entered with a weapon and attempted to rob the business. Police described the suspect as an African American adult male who fled the scene and remains at large. That intersection lines up with an AT&T location at 2254 S. 1300 E in the Sugar House neighborhood.

Detectives are asking anyone who might have information or video from the area to speak up, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. Tipsters can call the department's nonemergency line at 801-799-3000 or send an anonymous text by starting a message with TIPSLCPD and sending it to 274637.
What investigators still want
ABC4 Utah reports that there were no injuries, and police have not said whether anything was actually taken during the attempted robbery. Investigators are reviewing the store's security footage and canvassing neighboring businesses as they work to track down the suspect.
