According to the Atlanta Department of Transportation, Chamberlain Street SE from William Holmes Boarders Senior Drive SE to Jackson Street SE is getting a temporary gate-down from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for building maintenance activities at 16 William Holmes Boarders Senior Drive SE.
Drivers seeking alternate routes should prepare for detours. Westbound traffic on Chamberlin St SE is now redirected to turn right onto Jackson St SE, left onto Edgewood Ave SE, and then left again onto William Holmes Borders Senior Dr SE. Meanwhile, southbound drivers on William Holmes Borders Senior Dr NE, who normally turn left onto Chamberlin St SE, are being advised to continue straight onto William Holmes Borders Senior Dr SE, then turn left onto Gartrell St SE followed by a left onto Jackson St SE.
