
University City will hold its annual State of the City address on March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, according to an official post by the City of University City. The address will highlight the city’s accomplishments over the past year and outline goals and initiatives for the year ahead.
Mayor Terry Crow and Interim City Manager Brooke A. Sharp will speak at the address. Sharp, who assumed the interim role following Gregory Rose’s retirement last Friday, has served as Deputy City Manager since 2022, according to the city’s social media post.
The search for a new City Manager is ongoing, led by MGT Consulting Group, which is conducting a national recruitment effort to fill the position. The City of University City has advised interested parties to monitor updates as the process continues.
