
The local police department in Wentzville, Missouri, participated in this year’s Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Missouri. The fundraiser involved participants taking an icy dip and raised funds to support athletes with intellectual disabilities.
According to a social media post by the Wentzville Missouri Police Department, the officers raised over $8,000, contributing to a total of more than $127,000 for the event. The department’s team also won Best Costume Law Enforcement with a Will Ferrell movie theme, highlighting participation and creativity in the fundraiser.
Officer Case was named Top Individual Fundraiser after raising $2,800, according to the Wentzville Police Department. The recognition highlights the individual effort contributed to supporting the Special Olympics mission.
