Police officers flooded the area, taping off the neighborhood as paramedics treated the victim and detectives started tracking down evidence and witnesses.

According to 12News, officers were called just after 8:20 p.m. and found the woman suffering from at least one stab wound. She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries while investigators locked down the immediate area to gather evidence and canvass the neighborhood for anyone who might have seen or heard something.
