Neighborhood context
The block of Encanto around 75th Avenue has seen serious violence before. In 2024, investigators were called after two people were found shot in a car near the same intersection, a grim reminder of ongoing safety concerns in parts of west Phoenix. Arizona’s Family reported on that earlier case and the homicide investigation that followed.
Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the stabbing. Anyone with information or video from the area is urged to contact Phoenix police or reach out to Silent Witness so detectives can follow up.
