In an outreach effort to the public, the Worcester Police Department took to social media to post surveillance footage of a burglary suspect. The individual in question is accused of having lifted approximately $15,000 worth of purses from Sweet Jane’s Designer Consignment on Main Street, turning a local business's week sour.
In a post on social media, the department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or the vehicle connected to the theft. Officials stated, “If you recognize this individual or vehicle, please contact the Worcester Police Department Detective Bureau” at 508-799-8651.
Those who prefer to remain anonymous can also submit tips by sending a text message to CRIMES (274637). Tipsters should type the keyword “TIPWPD,” followed by a space and their message.
