West Palm Beach is getting a two-day country blowout right on the water, and Alan Jackson is the one setting the clocks to “quit time.” The country legend is launching a new festival, Alan Jackson’s Five O’Clock Somewhere Fest, at downtown’s Waterfront Commons on June 12–13, 2026. Organizers are promising beach-town vibes, big-name talent and upgraded creature comforts, all meant to bottle the laid-back spirit of Jackson’s hit “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” for locals and visitors.
According to 5 O'Clock Somewhere Fest, the event will take over the waterfront for two days of live music, dining activations and paid hospitality perks. The official site links out to ticketing options and hotel packages, and it hints at more to come on the festival’s tickets section as the weekend gets closer.
Lineup and hosts
The bill stacks contemporary stars with country mainstays. Ella Langley, Old Dominion and Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band are among the top draws, with Dylan Scott, Clint Black, Shenandoah, John Anderson, Rodney Atkins and others slated across the two-day schedule. Keeping the banter going between sets will be comedian Dusty Slay and JD Spradlin of SiriusXM’s Radio Margaritaville.
Jackson has described the whole setup as a way to give fans “one more chance” to soak up the easygoing, beachy atmosphere they associate with his shows, according to reporting from CBS12.
Tickets and VIP perks
Festival passes are being sold in tiers, with weekend general admission starting at $199. Above that, VIP options with names like Castaways, Gone Country Club and the 5 O'Clock Yacht Club layer in extras that go well beyond a closer view of the stage.
Depending on the package, guests can expect perks such as dedicated entrances, curated food offerings, premium viewing zones, air-conditioned pavilions and private restrooms. Single-day and weekend ticket prices, along with hospitality details and hotel-plus-ticket bundles sold through Jampack, are laid out on the tickets section of 5 O'Clock Somewhere Fest.
Resale, partners and the waterfront
For anyone who misses the initial on-sale, organizers say they are teaming up with StubHub for a verified fan-to-fan resale marketplace. All tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, March 27, according to CBS12.
The festival will unfold at Waterfront Commons, the same downtown stretch that hosts Meyer Amphitheatre concerts and the city’s 4th on Flagler celebration, per the City of West Palm Beach. Translation for locals: expect road closures, traffic shifts and parking shakeups during festival weekend.
Jackson's 'last call' context
The fest also lands at a pivotal moment in Jackson’s career. His official site notes that his "Last Call: One More for the Road - The Finale" is set to close out that chapter of his touring life later in June, according to alanjackson.com. Curating a seaside party in West Palm Beach gives him another way to shape the experience, even as he steps back from full-time touring.
For the city, the two-day Five O’Clock Somewhere Fest plugs a marquee country weekend into the waterfront calendar and hands local hotels, bars and restaurants a built-in summertime draw. If you live or work downtown, you might be planning around it. If you are a country fan, you might just be planning your whole June around it.
