An early-morning shooting rattled the usually quiet Palms Club condominium complex in Orlando’s MetroWest neighborhood today, leaving one person dead and another injured, according to police. Officers were called to the complex on Metrowest Boulevard around 8:15 a.m., where they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to a hospital, and one later died. The entrance to the gated community stayed blocked off for hours as investigators worked the scene.
