On Saturday night, Brickell's skyline turned into a giant teaser trailer, as buildings lit up with projections of a single letter and moody phrases asking, "Do you feel it?" Organizers say the spectacle was a sneak peek of a new Miami World Cup campaign called One Game, One Passion, launched ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The quick-hit, city-first activation was designed to spotlight Miami's cultural energy and get fans buzzing as the tournament draws closer.
Teaser Projections Hit Brickell
As reported by WSVN, a lone letter and other mysterious statements were splashed across Brickell high-rises, all circling the question, "Do you feel it?" Janelle Prieto, chief marketing and community officer for the Miami Host Committee, told the station, "It’s supposed to be a secret; I don’t know how long we’re going to be able to keep it a secret." The projections were billed as a "love letter to Miami" and a lead-in to the city's World Cup moments.
Host Committee Rolls Out Campaign
The FIFA World Cup Miami Host Committee shared a promotional video and campaign materials on its FIFA World Cup Miami Host Committee, framing One Game, One Passion as a celebration of Miami's cultures, rhythm and vibrancy. The short film and on-street activations are intended to unify fans across the region under a single tagline. Organizers say this rollout will be followed by additional events and activations in the lead-up to the tournament.
Why It Matters For Miami
Hard Rock Stadium, which will temporarily carry the name "Miami Stadium" for the event, is slated to host seven matches during the tournament, including group-stage games, a Round of 32 match, a quarterfinal and the third-place playoff, according to the City of Miami Gardens. Fans and local businesses have already begun gearing up for the influx of visitors and international attention. As WSVN reported, the Brickell light show is the first visible sign of a broader push to position Miami as a fan destination for 2026.
