Atlanta police say the wreck unfolded near 2447 Campbellton Road SW after a pickup truck crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit an SUV. The pickup’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV’s driver and a passenger riding in the pickup were taken for treatment of injuries that officials described as non-life-threatening.
