A 28-year-old Clarksdale man was fatally shot inside a Blanche Street home on Thursday, and investigators are now trying to piece together what happened.

Coahoma County deputies found Travis Kinnard inside the residence with gunshot wounds and immediately began first aid while waiting for Pafford medical personnel. Kinnard was taken to Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

According to FOX13 Memphis, deputies started life-saving measures at the scene before EMS transported Kinnard to the hospital. The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office told the station there is currently no suspect information and urged anyone with details to call 662-624-3081 or email the department.
