
Yesterday's shooting in San Diego’s South Park neighborhood left one man dead and sent another person to the hospital, according to police.
The San Diego Police Department says officers were called to the area of San Marcos Avenue near Kalmia Street at about 7:42 PM for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to a hospital. Authorities have not released any details about possible suspects, the victims’ identities, or the condition of the person who survived.
Police told NBC 7 San Diego that investigators stayed at San Marcos Avenue and Kalmia Street into the night, but no additional information was immediately available.
