A 9-year-old child was rushed to a hospital after being struck in a hit-and-run in Oklahoma City on Thursday night, according to police. Emergency crews took the child to a nearby hospital with emergency status while officers began searching for the driver who took off, as reported by News 9.
According to News 9, the Oklahoma City Police Department said EMSA responded to the scene at 6704 W Wilshire to transport the victim. Officers described the suspect vehicle as a black sedan. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released any suspect information.
