
A deadly domestic-violence incident along Glen Drive in Ellensburg has left an 18-year-old woman dead and a 19-year-old man behind bars, according to local authorities.
Ellensburg police say officers responded last Wednesday to a report of a domestic-violence assault and found the young woman unconscious and not breathing. First responders began medical aid at the scene, and she was rushed to Kittitas Valley Hospital before being transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further treatment.
The Kittitas County Medical Examiner later determined the woman died as a result of strangulation. Following the ruling, the 19-year-old suspect was booked into the Kittitas County Corrections Center.

Officers were dispatched after a 911 caller reported a domestic assault along Glen Drive, according to FOX 13 Seattle. Responding officers arrived to find the victim lying on the ground, and first responders provided on-scene care before she was taken for treatment at Kittitas Valley Healthcare and then transferred to Harborview.
Arrest And Custody
Police arrested a 19-year-old man at the scene and booked him into the Kittitas County Corrections Center, according to the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office. The county jail roster is the official place to check booking and custody status. Prosecutors are expected to review the investigation to determine any formal charges as the case proceeds.
