In a Facebook update, St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 said multiple vehicles were burning at Manheim’s auto auction on Brownsvillage Road, that firefighters "knocked the fires down" and that "the scene is now under control." The department thanked responding crews and noted that the cause remains under investigation.

The department’s post places the incident at Manheim’s auction on Brownsvillage Road in Slidell. Manheim New Orleans lists a Slidell facility on Saint Tammany Avenue, located in the same industrial area near Brownsvillage Road.
