The new spot at 27055 McBean Parkway joins the shopping center's lineup of national chains, and neighbors are getting an early look with a pre-opening Community Day that ties into the brand's ongoing giveback tradition.

Before the official debut, CAVA will host a Community Day featuring one free bowl or pita per person and taking donations to benefit Food Cycle LA, with the company pledging to match contributions up to $1,000, according to Eventbrite. That matching promise is part of a larger company program that CAVA says has raised more than $600,000 for local food-focused nonprofits since 2019, per CAVA.
Menu, hiring, and a company line
On the menu, locals can expect CAVA's mix-and-match bowls, salads, sides, and pita sandwiches, plus online and app ordering, as reported by WhatNow. The outlet also reports that the Valencia Promenade restaurant is set to employ roughly 25 to 40 local staffers. "Our mission is to bring heart, health, and humanity to food," Regional Director Corey Cheek said in a statement to WhatNow.

The Valencia Promenade location at 27055 McBean Parkway is already listed on the company's store directory, per CAVA, and job postings for the new restaurant show open roles ranging from team member to assistant manager, according to Harri. Between the Community Day event and the hiring push, the chain is giving the Promenade a small but noticeable bump in activity as CAVA continues expanding across Southern California.
