Tanishq, the Tata Group’s fine-jewelry label, is quietly turning suburban shopping trips into full-on gold expeditions. The brand has added new showrooms in metro Atlanta and the Seattle area, each stocked with thousands of gold and diamond designs for both brides and everyday shoppers. The suburban push follows the company’s first U.S. store launch in 2023 and marks another step in its broader North American rollout.
New Atlanta Showroom in Cumming
The Atlanta-area showroom in Cumming held an in-store event on Feb. 26, 2025 and spans about 3,270 square feet. In a press release via PR Newswire, Tanishq said the Peachtree Parkway location at 580 Peachtree Parkway carries more than 5,000 unique designs, from traditional bridal sets to everyday pieces. The opening drew local customers along with the Consul General of India in Atlanta for the ribbon-cutting, signaling that this is not just another mall jewelry counter.
Redmond Showroom Targets Pacific Northwest Shoppers
Two days later, the brand flipped on the lights in the Seattle suburbs. The Redmond showroom opened on Feb. 28, 2025 and is roughly 3,640 square feet with a comparable inventory of over 5,000 pieces, according to JCK. The Redmond Town Center directory lists the store at 7325 166th Ave NE, Suite F155. Local officials and community members turned out for the launch, underscoring the brand’s pitch of serving both ceremonial shoppers and those in the market for everyday sparkle.
Tanishq said the Cumming event welcomed Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consul General of India in Atlanta, and that the Redmond launch included Consul General Prakash Gupta and Mayor Angela Birney, according to the company’s statement. "Our journey in the U.S. is just beginning, and Atlanta and Seattle are key markets for us," Amrit Pal Singh, business head — North America at Titan Company Limited, said in that release. The company is positioning these stores as cultural hubs for South Asian communities as well as mainstream luxury stops for a broader customer base.
Where This Fits in Tanishq’s U.S. Strategy
Tanishq opened its first U.S. store in Iselin, N.J., in January 2023 and then added locations in Houston, Frisco and Aurora before debuting the Cumming and Redmond showrooms, according to industry coverage. JCK has reported that the company has publicly discussed plans to reach 20 to 30 stores across North America and the Middle East within a two to three year timeframe. The brand says it now operates more than 400 retail outlets worldwide as part of the Tata and Titan portfolio, so the suburban U.S. push is one more spoke on a fairly large wheel.
What Shoppers Can Expect
Inside both new showrooms, shoppers will find traditional Indian bridal sets, bangles and mangalsutras displayed alongside contemporary diamond and gemstone collections in boutique-style cases. National coverage notes that the stores are tailored to South Asian traditions and contemporary American tastes, which helps explain the choice of suburban centers with active Indian communities. For local buyers, the openings translate into more chances to try on specialty pieces in person and get jewelry serviced nearby instead of relying on overseas orders.
