Another Violent Weekend For Bronzeville
The shooting adds to a string of recent gunfire on the South Side. NBC Chicago reported an earlier March drive-by that left a 13-year-old girl critically injured. Local reporting has tracked several fatal and nonfatal shootings in Bronzeville this winter, underscoring ongoing public-safety concerns. Community groups and police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Chicago police said the investigation remains active and asked anyone with information to contact detectives. We will update this post as authorities release more details.
