A quiet stretch of Hambrick Road turned into a homicide scene late Saturday when DeKalb County officers found a woman shot to death along the roadway, authorities said.
What Police Say
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, DeKalb County police were dispatched to the 400 block of Hambrick Road around 9:12 p.m. on March 28. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot. She died from her injuries at the scene, the outlet reported.
Investigators have not released the victim's name and have shared few other details about what led up to the shooting. Police say the case remains active and no arrests have been made.
