Molly Tea, a jasmine-forward tea chain from China, has quietly begun a soft opening in Duluth this week, nudging its way deeper into the metro Atlanta drink scene. Owner Terry Qian says the brand is already targeting a unit at Lenox Square in Buckhead for a third local shop later this year.
Duluth Shop Lands In The Pleasant Hill Retail Corridor
The new Duluth outpost is at 2131 Pleasant Hill Rd #135 in the busy Pleasant Hill retail corridor, a location that is already turning up in business listings and map searches. MapQuest lists the address for Molly Tea, and a Gwinnett visitor guide shows the same suite on its area directory.
Owner’s Game Plan And Jasmine-Heavy Menu
Qian told What Now Atlanta that Lenox Square is the target for another location and that Molly Tea is leaning hard into fragrant jasmine teas and loose-leaf brews instead of sugary, syrup-heavy bubble-tea formulas. Menu highlights the owner cited include premium jasmine white milk tea, jasmine apple milk tea and premium jasmine matcha.
Brand Growth And U.S. Rollout
Molly Tea traces its roots to Shenzhen and lists more than 2,000 stores worldwide on its corporate site, with the company noting that count as of November 2025. MOLLY TEA also shows a growing U.S. footprint, and the Duluth opening follows a December debut in Doraville at 6035 Peachtree Rd, according to the local Atlanta storefront page. The brand has been moving into U.S. Chinatowns and test markets, including a 2025 Chinatown opening reported in Block Club Chicago.
What To Expect Next
Qian did not offer firm lease details or an opening date for Buckhead beyond saying the team hopes to launch a third Atlanta-area shop “later this year,” so any Lenox Square timeline still hinges on lease negotiations and mall approvals. For now, Duluth is in soft-launch mode, and hours, menu items and promotions may shift as the shop settles in and figures out exactly what local tea drinkers keep coming back for.
