A jasmine-forward tea shop is getting ready to land at the corner of Parker Road and U.S. 75 in Plano, where new storefront signage is teasing Molly Tea as “coming soon.” Known for floral milk teas and whipped-cream-topped drinks, the brand has a banner on the shopping center frontage, and the sign currently lists the arrival as “TBD,” which has already caught the eye of tea fans and nearby shoppers.
According to Community Impact, the Plano shop is slated for 3302 N. Central Expressway, Suite 210, and will be Molly Tea's first Texas location. The outlet reports that the storefront signage still shows the opening as “TBD” and notes that the menu lineup is expected to include milk teas, jasmine teas, smoothies and whipped-cream beverages.
What to expect from Molly Tea
Molly Tea builds its identity around jasmine aroma and floral flavor profiles, with drink categories such as Fresh Milk Tea, Snowy Whipped Cream and iced fruit teas. The chain highlights premium tea leaves, fragrant infusions and fresh ingredients, according to Molly Tea. Many of its signature drinks skew lighter and more aroma-driven rather than leaning on ultra-rich, heavy cream-based milk teas.
Where it fits in Plano's tea scene
Plano already has a crowded bubble tea scene featuring both independent shops and national chains, so Molly Tea will be stepping into a competitive but well-established arena. Plano's 5 favorite spots for boba spotlights local fixtures like Bobaland and Sharetea, a sign that demand for milk teas and fruit teas has staying power in the area.
When to expect an opening
For now, the sign on the storefront simply reads "TBD," and Community Impact reports that no firm opening date has been announced. Molly Tea's U.S. site includes menus and a store locator for updates, and either the company or the shopping center signage is likely to confirm a grand opening date once everything is locked in.
