A busy Chelsea intersection turned into a crime scene Thursday evening after multiple people were stabbed and rushed to area hospitals, authorities said. Officers were called around 6:45 p.m. to the area of Chestnut Street and Everett Avenue, where they found several victims suffering from stab wounds.
One victim was listed in serious condition with potentially life‑threatening injuries, while others were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Officials did not immediately release the exact number of people hurt.

According to a press release from the Chelsea Police Department, officers provided medical aid at the scene before sending all injured individuals to nearby hospitals. Police then locked down the area as an active investigation got underway.
Chelsea detectives are working with Massachusetts State Police CPAC detectives, and authorities are withholding the names of those involved while the investigation continues. Chief Keith E.
