A late-night stabbing in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington neighborhood sent a man and a woman to the hospital Friday, after police say both were found with non-life-threatening wounds inside a home on Massachusetts Avenue.
Officers were called to the residence around 11:45 p.m., where they found the two victims suffering from stab injuries. Both were taken to UC Medical Center and are expected to recover.
Officers Probe Possible Domestic Incident
Responding officers discovered the injured man and woman inside the home and arranged for both to be transported to the hospital, according to WLWT. Police at the scene described the injuries as non-life-threatening and said the situation is believed to be domestic in nature. Cincinnati police have opened an active investigation into the stabbing.
Victims Taken to UC Medical Center
The two victims were brought to UC Medical Center, Greater Cincinnati’s academic hospital. UC Health notes that the facility is the region’s only verified Level I adult trauma center, equipped to manage complex emergencies. The hospital’s Clifton campus is a short drive from Camp Washington.
