Txa Txa Club, the supper-club-turned-catering project from Daniel Parker and Liz Bendure, has quietly traded in its pop-up-only life for a brick-and-mortar, all-day cafe at 3268 W. Fullerton Ave in Logan Square. The team has converted its studio and pop-up workspace into a compact storefront that runs from breakfast into the early evening, channeling the supper club's playful approach to ingredients into something a little more everyday for walk-in neighbors.
According to WTTW, the cafe opened on March 6 and is keeping hours Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parker told the outlet that "a restaurant was never the goal," describing the space instead as a lower-pressure way for people to experience the group's particular brand of hospitality.
From Supper Club To Studio
Parker and Bendure first launched Txa Txa as backyard supper clubs during the pandemic, then grew the project into catering, event programming and a creative culinary studio, according to the group's website. They say the new cafe is designed to feed, not replace, those original projects: it will help support their monthly dinners while also giving them a reliable kitchen base for catering and other work. The brick-and-mortar setup lets the team keep the event side humming without taking on the grind of a full-scale, nightly fine-dining restaurant.
A Menu Of In-Between Things
Reviewers say the menu walks a line between comfort food and left-turn surprises. Dishes range from congee to a panzanella dressed with Vietnamese nước chấm, along with coffee flavored with lemongrass and galangal, all of it echoing the supper club's experimental streak. The Infatuation slotted Txa Txa into its list of new Chicago openings and homed in on those eclectic, "in-between" dishes. Menus will rotate with the seasons, but the idea is to keep things approachable and artful from morning to early evening.
The Space And Practical Details
Neighborhood coverage describes the interior as an intentional mix of exposed brick, vintage fixtures, and hand-applied finishes that tracks closely with the team's creative, studio-like vibe. Newcity flagged the opening in a local culture roundup, while local listings place the cafe at 3268 W. Fullerton Ave in Logan Square. Inside, expect tight but thoughtful seating, counter service, and a lineup that carries guests from morning coffee and pastries through to small plates in the early evening.
After the neighborhood buzz, local television piled on: WGN-TV also reported on the opening on March 23. Parker frames the cafe as an easy on-ramp into the Txa Txa world - "the ante is a cup of coffee" - while the supper club and event programming continue in parallel. For Logan Square, it is a compact but vivid new player in a neighborhood already known for experimental yet welcoming spots to eat and linger.
