A local lottery player matched all five numbers in Friday night's Arizona Lottery Fantasy 5 drawing, scoring an estimated $330,000 prize. The winning ticket was bought at the Fry's supermarket near the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Pantano Road, and the winner now has 180 days to claim the money. It is the second Fantasy 5 top prize tied to southern Arizona so far this year.
According to KTAR, the ticket is worth roughly $330,000 and was sold at the Speedway and Pantano Fry's store. KTAR reports that the winner will follow the Arizona Lottery's standard claim process to collect the prize.
Winning numbers and odds
The Arizona Lottery drawing produced the five winning numbers: 16, 19, 20, 26 and 37, as reported by the Associated Press. The Arizona Lottery's Fantasy 5 page notes that tickets cost $1 and the odds of matching all five numbers are about 1 in 749,398. The lottery also reminds players that draw-game prizes must be claimed within 180 days.
What this means for the next drawing
Per KTAR, the top prize for the next Fantasy 5 drawing will reset to an estimated $52,000. Earlier this year another Fantasy 5 ticket worth about $438,000 was sold in the Tucson area, a win AZFamily reported came from a Safeway near Sunrise and Swan. That makes this Fry's win the second significant Fantasy 5 payout tied to southern Arizona so far in 2026.
How winners claim
For prizes of $600 and up, winners must complete a Winner's Claim Form and either visit an Arizona Lottery claims office in person or mail in the required documents.
