
Last Saturday night shooting on a Mt. Airy residential street sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries, Cincinnati police said. The gunfire broke out around 11 p.m. on High Forest Lane, just off Mt. Airy Forest, and officers moved in quickly, but no arrests were reported at the scene.

According to WLWT, the shooting happened on High Forest Lane around 11 p.m. The street is lined with apartment buildings only yards from Mt. Airy Forest, and officers continued searching the area for a suspect after the victim was transported.

Police told WLWT that one person was taken to a nearby hospital with “serious” injuries. Authorities have not released the victim’s name or any additional information about their condition and have declined to say what may have led to the gunfire.
