A stabbing on the 3500 block of North Krameria Street in Denver sent one person to the hospital on Tuesday, and police say they are still working to identify a suspect.
According to authorities, officers responded to the area and found a single victim, who was taken to a hospital. Police have not yet released details about the person’s condition.
What police say
In an alert posted on X, the Denver Police Department said officers located one victim and transported that person to a hospital. Detectives are “working to develop suspect information,” and the department said any new details will be added to the same social media thread.
Police also reminded users that the department’s X account is not monitored around the clock, so emergencies should still go through 911 rather than social media.
Context: Recent incidents in the city
The Krameria Street case arrives in the wake of a series of violent incidents reported across Denver earlier this month. One of those was a fatal stabbing along North Ursula Street on March 1 that remains under investigation. Denver7 reported that police are still asking for tips in that homicide.
In cases like these, investigators often lean on the public for cellphone video, security footage, or eyewitness accounts that can help identify suspects or piece together what happened on the street.
