Old Colony Avenue No Stranger To Police Lights
Old Colony Avenue cuts through South Boston and has seen its share of violent incidents, according to past city police reports. As outlined by the Boston Police Department, officers routinely respond to serious assaults in the neighborhood and at times make arrests at or near that corridor. Those prior cases help explain why fresh reports from the stretch often draw an immediate, highly visible response from emergency crews.
What Authorities Are Saying Now
As of Friday evening, Boston police had not released a suspect description or possible motive. NBC10 Boston reported it had a crew headed to the scene for follow-up coverage. Hoodline will update this story if officials release further information or announce any arrests.
