
A 64-year-old Williamsburg man, identified by authorities as Douglas Srofe, died Friday after his pickup left State Route 32, struck a tree and overturned. The crash happened at about 4:18 p.m., and Srofe was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers describe the wreck
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, Srofe’s truck went off the right side of the roadway, broke through a right-of-way fence and crossed a field before hitting a tree and rolling over. Troopers reported that no other vehicles were involved and there were no passengers in the truck. These details were shared with the media, as reported by Local 12.
